What’s new
What’s changed in Poker Manager Pro, newest first.
Link previews
- Links to the website shared in a text, chat or post now show a preview: a picture, the page’s name and a line about it.
Seasons, standings for players, chopping the pot, and a new app icon
- Players can now see the leaderboard and season standings of the sites they play at, under My Stats, on the website or in the app, with their own row picked out. They only see the table: nothing else from the host’s pages.
- Hosts who’d rather keep results private can turn it off: Edit on the site’s card, then untick “Players can see the leaderboard and season standings”. It’s on to start with.
- Run your games in seasons: add a season (say, “Fall 2026”, Sep 1 – Dec 31) under the leaderboard, and pick it to see its standings, on the website or in the app.
- Season standings rank by points: each game gives one point for every player you outlast, plus one for playing, so bigger games count for more. Net profit breaks ties.
- Emails now really go out, from noreply@pokermanager.pro: password resets, “Find my games” codes, and invitations sent to an email address.
- When the players left agree to split the pot, press Chop on the game screen, on the website or in the app. Split what’s left evenly, by chip counts, or in amounts you agree, with everyone sharing 1st or places by chip count. If it comes out odd, the players can play one more hand for the odd amount. It can be undone until the game is completed.
- The phone app checks for a new version whenever you open it and offers a Restart button, instead of taking days to update itself. The Account screen shows which version you’re on.
- The phone app has a new icon: the same poker chip and spade as the website.
- Pages like the games list load faster, especially the first one after the site has been quiet for a while.
Payouts that add up, a fairer leaderboard, and deleting your account
- The website counts visits (pages viewed, where visitors came from, rough location) so we can see how it’s used. The Privacy Policy says exactly what’s recorded; browsers that send Global Privacy Control are skipped.
- Poker Manager Pro is in beta and free to use. The front page says so, and any paid plans will be announced here first.
- Payouts can round to whole dollars, $5 or $10 (Round payouts to, in the game setup). Whatever rounding leaves over goes to 1st, so the whole pot is always paid out.
- If fewer players turn up than there are paid places, the places nobody can finish in are dropped and their share goes to the others.
- Results warn when the cash-outs add up to more than the pool.
- The leaderboard counts completed games only. Players you remove stay on it, marked inactive, and players with no completed games are left off.
- Complete asks first, and warns when players are still in. The first knockout starts a game that’s still a draft.
- Game setups check their blind levels (no 0/0, and the big blind at least the small blind), and each add-on can be bought once.
- Chip sets can’t list the same color twice, a player always keeps a first name, and a site can’t lose its last manager.
- You can delete your account from the Account page, on the website or in the app.
- Confirmations open inside the app, and a cancelled game’s results are locked.
- Smaller fixes: start times cover the whole day, a hint when tables are uneven, chips shown smallest first, long names wrap, and more.
- The leaderboard and My stats say “In profit” (games someone finished ahead in) instead of “Wins”, which read like 1st places.
- Adding a player whose name is already on your list asks first, a second game on the same day gets numbered (“(2)”), and a game without a name shows as “Untitled game”.
- Android: the clock alert plays at alarm volume, so it’s heard even with the phone on vibrate.
Live updates and your game history
- Changes made on one screen show up on every other screen watching the game, straight away.
- Players can see their game history: every completed game they played, with its finishing order.
- Help opens in a popup, so you don’t lose your place.
- The full-screen clock fits tablets properly.
- Pages open faster.
Game night on your phone
- Run a whole game night from the phone app: the clock, seating, rebuys, add-ons and knockouts.
- Add players, change games and create new ones from the phone.
- Find my games links you to entries hosts made for you, once you prove the email or number is yours.
- Changing or resetting your password signs you out everywhere else.
Sign in with Apple, and help for every screen
- Sign in with Apple, on the website and the iPhone app.
- Help for every screen, with a glossary of poker terms.
- Delete a game that hasn’t started (it can be restored).
- Chip sets are edited in a popup, so a game setup keeps its changes.
- A fresh look across the site.
Chip sets, fixed payouts and restoring what you remove
- Named chip sets: enter your chips once and pick a set in each game setup.
- Fixed-amount payouts, for games that pay set amounts whatever the pot holds.
- Players, setups and chip sets you remove are kept and can be restored.
- Drag blind levels into order, and insert a level or break anywhere.
- Pick an icon for each site.
Poker Manager Pro is live
- Poker Manager Pro opens at pokermanager.pro.
- Players with the same name are told apart in a game by last initial or nickname.
- Number boxes work properly on tablets.
